Egawa represents various industries, including major financial institutions, investment funds, trustees, in both litigation and strategic advisory contexts—judicial, arbitral, administrative, and extrajudicial—especially in judicial recoveries and bankruptcies, with a focus on credit recovery (Large, Corporate, Wholesale, Middle, Special Situations, and NPL), with a particular emphasis on sophisticated asset and corporate fraud investigations.
He is a master’s candidate and holds a postgraduate degree in Business Law and Civil Procedure from FGV/SP. He is the Vice-President of the Banking Law Commission of the OAB/SP. He is also a member of the Turnaround Management Association Brazil (TMA), the M&A and Business Restructuring Committee of the Brazil-Canada Chamber of Commerce (CAMARB), and the Bankruptcy and Recovery Law Commission of the Lawyers Institute (IASP). Additionally, he is the author of legal articles and a guest lecturer at educational institutions.
